Fuel System

The fuel system consists of:
^ a fuel injection supply manifold
^ fuel injectors
^ a fuel tank
^ a fuel pump
^ a fuel filter
^ fuel lines

The vehicle is equipped with Sequential Multiport Fuel Injection (SFI).

The fuel delivery is accomplished through a Mechanical, Returnless Fuel System (MRFS).

^ The fuel pump supplies the fuel injectors with pressurized fuel through the fuel injection supply manifold.
^ Fuel pressure is controlled by the fuel pressure regulator which is mounted to the fuel pump bracket within the fuel tank.
^ A rollover protection valve is also mounted to the fuel pump. The rollover protection valve can not be repaired and if necessary a new one must be installed.
