Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the bolts and the accelerator splash shield.







3. Disconnect the Idle Air Control (IAC) valve electrical connector.







4. Remove the two bolts and the IAC valve.

INSTALLATION







1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Install a new IAC valve gasket. Tighten the two bolts in 2 stages.
^ Stage 1: Tighten to 10 Nm (89 Lb-In).
^ Stage 2: Rotate 90 degrees.
