Fuel Tank Pressure Sensor: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
1. Remove the fuel tank.







2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

CAUTION: The fuel tank pressure sensor must be disengaged from the fuel tank before it can be removed. Push down while rotating the sensor counterclockwise to disengage it from the fuel tank Failure to do so can cause damage to the fuel tank pressure sensor or the fuel tank.







3. Press down and rotate the fuel tank pressure sensor counterclockwise and remove it from the fuel tank.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Leak test the system. Evaporative Emission System Leak Test
^ Carry out the evaporative emission repair verification drive cycle. Evaporative Emission Repair Verification Drive Cycle
