Vehicle Damage Warnings

CAUTION:
^ Never use a halfshaft as a lifting point.
^ Never use the differential housing as a lifting point.
^ Damage to suspension, exhaust and steering linkage components may occur if care is not exercised when positioning the hoist adapters prior to lifting the vehicle.
^ Do not carry out the Engine Load Test for more than five seconds or damage to the transmission or transaxle can result.
^ Limit engine running time to one minute or less with belts removed or serious engine damage will result.
^ Never probe moving parts.
^ Do not hold the steering wheel against the stops for more than three to five seconds at a time. Damage to the power steering pump will occur.
^ Do not install brake discs that are less than the minimum thickness specified. Do not machine a brake disc below the minimum thickness specification.
^ Do not use a bench lathe to machine brake discs.
^ Make sure the system is warmed up to normal operating temperature, as thermal expansion can be the cause of a strain problem.
