REMOVAL

NOTE: The power seat without heat control is shown, the power seat with heat control and the manual seat are similar.

1. Move the seat to its forward most position.
2. Remove power distribution box fuse 18 (30 A).







3. Remove the seat mounting stud beauty caps.







4. Remove the front seat.
1 Remove the three front seat riser support-to-floorpan bolts.
2 If equipped, disconnect the seat switch electrical connector.
3 Disconnect the safety belt warning indicator electrical connector.
4 Remove the front seat riser support-to-floorpan nut.
5 Remove the front seat.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
^ Adjust the seat to the full forward and rearward positions a few times to assure safety belt and buckle accessibility.

CAUTION: When installing the seat, tighten the front mounting bolts, then the rear mounting bolt and nut.

2. Check the active restraint system for correct operation.
