Normal Operation
The air bag Electronic Crash Sensor (ECS) monitors the resistance of the passenger belt and buckle assembly pretensioner circuit by measuring the resistance between Pins C2041-26 and C2041-27. If the ECS detects low or high resistance, the ECS will store DTC B1232 in memory and flash LFC 47 (or higher priority code if one exists) on the air bag indicator.

Possible Causes
^ Damaged wiring on Circuit 1081 (YE/RD) or 1082 (YE/BK).
^ Damaged passenger belt and buckle assembly pretensioner.
^ ECS internal failure.
