Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

REMOVAL







1. Remove the air cleaner inlet tube from the air cleaner housing.







2. Disconnect the air cleaner housing.
1 Remove the four air cleaner housing retainers.
2 Loosen the air cleaner outlet tube clamp. Remove the outlet tube from the air cleaner housing.







3. Reposition the air cleaner housing and disconnect the Mass Airflow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.







4. Disconnect the two vent hoses from the air cleaner outlet tube.







5. Loosen the air cleaner outlet tube clamp at the throttle body and remove the air cleaner outlet tube.

INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
