REAR SEAT BACKREST - 60 PERCENT

DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove the rear seat backrest.







2. Separate the J-clips at the bottom of the seat backrest trim cover.







3. Remove the staples and release the trim cover.







4. Remove the safety belt bezel.







5. Remove the latch bezel.







6. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat backrest trim cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip can be torn from the seat backrest foam.

Separate the hook-and-loop strips and invert the trim cover.







7. Remove the four head restraint lock springs (one shown).
8. Remove the two head restraints.







9. Remove the screws and the backrest panel.







10. Squeeze the bottom of the head restraint guide together and pull it out.
11. Remove the backrest foam pad.







12. Remove the seat latch cable.
1 Release the cable from the retainer.
2 Remove the cable end from the latch retainer.
3 Remove the cable.







13. Remove the seat latch bolt and remove the latch.







14. Remove the three screws (one shown), route the safety belt through and remove the safety belt retractor cover.







15. Remove the bolts and the safety belt guide.







16. Remove the safety belt sleeve pin-type retainers (not shown).







17. Remove the two pin-type retainers (one shown) and separate the safety belt sleeve.







18. Remove the bolt and the safety belt retractor.







19. Remove the two bolts and remove the seat backrest latch and cable.

ASSEMBLY

1. NOTE:
- Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted prior to installation.
- Make sure to tighten all nuts and bolts to specification.

To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
