Clearing DTCs
1. Key off.
2. Connect the diagnostic tool with the On-Board Diagnostics (OBD) Data Link Connector (DLC) cable securely into the vehicle OBD DLC.
3. Connect the diagnostic tool power supply cable to the vehicle.
4. Key ON or start the vehicle it necessary. The diagnostic tool is ready to communicate with the vehicle Alternative Fuel Control Module (AFCM).
5. Access the AFCM.
- This module supports some DTCs and PIDs which appear similar to the PCM but may have an entirely different meaning.
6. Clear the DTCs.
7. To disconnect the tool, turn key OFF and disconnect the diagnostic tool from the OBD DLC and power supply.
