Disassembly





1. NOTE: Match mark parts for assembly.

Disassemble the synchronizer.
1 Remove one retaining spring.
2 Flip synchronizer over and remove opposite retaining spring.
3 Remove the three insert keys.
4 Remove the sleeve.
2. Inspect all synchronizer components for wear and damage.

Assembly
1. Follow the disassembly procedure in reverse order.
