REAR SEAT BACKREST - 40 PERCENT AND QUAD BUCKET, SUPERCREW

DISASSEMBLY
1. Remove the seat backrest.







2. While pressing the release button, pull the headrest from the seat backrest.







3. Remove the seat backrest panel.

1 CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat trim cover from the foam pad hook and loop strip. The hook and loop strip can be torn from the foam pad.

Pull the trim cover up to expose the backrest panel screws.

2 Remove the backrest panel screws.
3 Remove the backrest panel.







4. NOTE: To aid installation, identify the head restraint guides as inboard and outboard before removal.

Squeeze the tips of the head restraint guides together. Push the guides out of the backrest frame.

5. Lift the backrest frame from the foam pad.







6. NOTE: To aid installation, identify the trim aprons as inboard and outboard before removal.

Release the four pin-type retainers (two shown) and remove the two trim aprons (outboard side shown).







7. Release the trim positioning tabs and remove the inboard latch trim cover.







8. Remove the outboard latch trim screw cover.







9. Remove the outboard latch trim screw.







10. CAUTION: Excessive force can damage the positioning tabs.

Remove the outboard trim cover.
1 Remove the screw.
2 Release the positioning tabs.
3 Remove the outboard trim cover.







11. NOTE: To aid installation, note the way the child safety seat tether anchor is tied to the seat backrest frame.

Remove the child safety seat tether anchor.

ASSEMBLY







1. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
- Make sure the lower center screw goes through the backrest support, child safety seat tether anchor and seat backrest frame.
