Pinpoint Test A: The Instrument Cluster 4x4 And Low Range Indicators Do Not Operate Correctly/Do Not Operate

Normal Operation

The mechanical shift on the stop (MSOS) mode indicator status is transmitted to the instrument cluster from the mode indication switch (MIS) via circuits 975 (BN/YE) and circuit 210 (LB). A steady 4x4 indicator displays when the vehicle is in 4H mode. When the vehicle is in 4L mode, the 4x4 and Low Range indicators are displayed. No indicators are displayed when the transfer case is in 2H or NEUTRAL mode.
