REMOTE KEYLESS ENTRY (RKE) MODULE

REMOVAL

1. CAUTION: Prior to removal of the RKE module, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to a diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into a new module once installed.

Disconnect the battery ground cable.







2. Remove the utility compartment.
1 Remove the four pin-type retainers.
2 Remove the utility compartment.
- If equipped, disconnect the power point electrical connector.







3. Disconnect the electrical connector.







4. Remove the nuts and the remote keyless entry module.


INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
