CAUTION: Be careful when probing the battery junction box (BJB), central junction box (CJB), or any connectors. Damage will result to the connector receptacle if the probe or terminal being used is too large.Electronic modules are sensitive to static electrical discharges. If exposed to these charges, damage may result.
Prior to removal of the module, it is necessary to upload module configuration information to the diagnostic tool. This information needs to be downloaded into the new module once installed.
