Air Cleaner Housing: Service and Repair

AIR CLEANER

Removal and Installation







1. Detach the air cleaner dirty air inlet tube from the plastic seal on the radiator support.







2. Disconnect the air cleaner housing.
1. Remove the air cleaner housing bolts at the cowl and the radiator support.
2. Loosen the air cleaner outlet tube clamp. Remove the outlet tube from the air cleaner housing.







3. Reposition the air cleaner housing and disconnect the mass airflow (MAF) sensor electrical connector.

4. NOTE: Install the air cleaner bolts at the cowl first to aid in alignment of the air cleaner housing.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
