AUDIO SYSTEM

The Excursion has 3 audio unit options:
- P100i premium AM/FM cassette
- D100i DM (dual media) AM/FM/CD cassette
- CDX6 - AM/FM with 6-CD in-dash

All systems are equipped with premium radio speakers. Refer to Speaker.

The vehicle is available with an optional digital versatile disc (DVD) system.

The audio unit frequency interference suppression components reduce interference transmitted through the speakers by the engine ignition and electrical systems. When installing new audio unit frequency interference suppression components, make sure that a good contact is made at all connections. Remove any paint or dirt between a component and its mating surface. Tighten all nuts, bolts and screws securely. Refer to Specifications.
