WARNING DEVICES

The warning chime module is incorporated within the instrument cluster. The system components include the following:
- instrument cluster
- safety belt warning switch (warning lamp and repetitive chime)
- key-in-ignition switch (repetitive chime)
- headlamp switch on warning (repetitive chime)
- door ajar switch (warning lamp and single tone)

The following 4 distinct chime rates are used to indicate warning:
- Safety belt warning chime is 1 chime per second.
- Key-in-ignition warning is 2 chimes per second.
- Headlamp on warning is 4 chimes per second.
- Door ajar warning is a single chime.
