Test B: The Adjustable Brake Pedal Does Not Operate Correctly

PINPOINT TEST B: ADJUSTABLE BRAKE PEDAL IS INOPERATIVE/DOES NOT OPERATE CORRECTLY - NON-MEMORY

Normal Operation
The switch for the non-memory adjustable pedal receives voltage from the central junction box (CJB) at all times through circuit 566 (DG). The switch is grounded through circuit 57 (BK). Pressing the switch upward closes circuit 1495 (WH) to voltage and circuit 1494 (RD) to ground with the adjustable pedal motor moving the pedal away from the driver. Pressing the switch downward closes circuit 1494 (RD) to voltage and circuit 1495 (WH) to ground with the adjustable pedal motor moving the pedal toward the driver.

Possible Causes
^ circuit 566 (DG) open
^ circuit 1494 (RD) open or short to ground
^ circuit 1495 (WH) open or short to ground
^ circuit 57 (BK) open
^ adjustable pedal switch
^ adjustable pedal motor assembly
