The brake disc system consists of the following components:
^ a dual-piston brake caliper
^ a vented-cast, drum in hat-type brake disc
^ a brake caliper anchor plate that holds the brake pads and the brake caliper
^ a brake disc shield that is part of the brake caliper anchor bracket.
^ a brake disc shield that protects the brake disc from road debris
