Brake Module

Trailer Brake Controller (TBC) System

NOTE: The TBC is a factory installed system only. The system should not be dealer installed since all of the required components may not be installed, or all of the applicable modules configured.

The trailer brake controller (TBC) system consists of the following components:
^ TBC module
- manual slider switch
- gain switches
- light emitting diode (LED) display
^ brake pressure transducer
^ circuitry
^ display
^ 7 pin connector
The trailer connectivity status, gain setting and relative trailer braking power during a braking event are provided to the driver through the LED display in the TBC.

The brake pressure transducer is part of the master cylinder assembly.
The TBC is a factory installed item only. It should not currently be dealer installed as all necessary sensors will not be on truck not ordered with TBC, and also other modules that communicate with TBC will not be configured to do so.
