Normal Operation
The door lock control switch receives voltage from the central junction box (CJB) fuse 5 (30A) on circuit 517 (BK/WH). The door lock control switch completes one of 2 circuits, circuit 1296 (OG/BK) to lock the doors or circuit 1297 (YE/RD) to unlock the doors and also to send voltage to the rear door lock control switch. The door lock actuators receive the voltage from the rear door lock control switch on circuit 117 (PK/BK) to lock the doors or circuit 118 (PK/OG) to unlock the doors. The actuators operate in the lock or unlock direction based on the voltage received from the door lock control switch.
Possible Causes
- fuse
- circuit 57 (BK) open
- circuit 117 (PK/BK) open or short to ground
- circuit 118 (PK/OG) open or short to ground
- circuit 517 (BK/WH) open
- door lock control switch
