Seat Control Switch
Removal and Installation
WARNING: Never probe the electrical connectors on safety belt buckle/retractor pretensioners or adaptive load limiting retractors. Failure to follow this instruction may result in the accidental deployment of the safety belt pretensioners or adaptive load limiting retractors, which increases the risk of serious personal injury or death.
NOTE: The supplemental restraint system (SRS) must be fully operational and free of faults before releasing the vehicle to the customer.
1. Remove the screw from behind the recliner handle.
2. Remove the cushion side shield front screw.
3. Remove the rear screw from under the cushion side shield.
4. Disconnect the seat control switch electrical connector from under the front of the cushion frame.
5. Remove the seat control switch.
1. Separate the side shield from the seat.
2. Route out the wire harness.
3. Remove the 2 seat control switch screws.
4. Remove the seat control switch.
6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
