PRINCIPLES OF OPERATION

Electronic Compass
The compass and ambient air display can be turned off and on by pressing the SELECT switch in the overhead console. The vehicle heading is displayed as N, NE, E, SE, S, SW, W, or NW.

The ambient air can be displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit by pressing the SELECT switch.

If the ambient air falls below 3.3°C (38°F), the display alternates from "ICE" to the ambient air temperature at a 2 second rate for 1 minute.
