Rear Suspension

Suspension Components
The rear suspension system consists of the following components:

Axle Jounce Bumpers
The rear axle Jounce bumpers are used to prevent metal-to-metal contact between the rear axle and the frame.

Rear Spring
Semi-elliptic leaf-type rear springs are used for the in rear suspension.

Shock Absorbers
The rear shock absorbers provide the necessary suspension dampening control.

Stabilizer Bar And Links
The stabilizer bar and links transmit forces to control vehicle roll during cornering.

Rear Lean
A side-to-side lean at the rear of the vehicle can be adjusted approximately 10 mm (3/8 inch) by installing a shim between the rear spring and the rear axle on the low side of the vehicle. A low at the rear vehicle can be raised approximately 10 mm (3/8 inch) by installing a shim on each side of the vehicle.
