Normal Operation
Battery voltage is supplied to the headlamp switch through circuit 195 (TN/WH). The instrument panel dimmer switch is an integral part of the headlamp switch. The instrument panel dimmer switch controls a variable voltage which is distributed to the various illumination bulbs through circuit 1045 (DB/WH), central junction box (CJB) fuse 36 (5A) and circuit 19 (LB/RD).

Possible Causes
- fuse(s)
- circuit 19 (LB/RD) open or short to voltage
- circuit 195 (TN/WH) open
- circuit 1045 (DB/WH) open or short to voltage
- instrument panel dimmer switch (part of the headlamp switch)
