Removal and Installation

1. NOTE: If the retractable running board cannot be extracted, extend the running board by hand.

Extend the retractable running board.







2. Remove the straps and disconnect the retractable running board motor electrical connector.
3. Remove the wedge screw and wedge. Note orientation for reinstallation.
- To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).







4. Remove the 3 bolts and retractable running board motor.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
