LIFTGATE LATCH

Removal and Installation
1. Remove the liftgate trim panel.
2. Position the watershield aside.
3. Disconnect the liftgate release handle actuating rod.
4. Disconnect the liftgate latch actuator and the liftgate ajar switch electrical connectors.
5. Remove the 3 liftgate latch screws and remove the latch.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Lubricate the liftgate latch after installation.
