Removal and Installation

NOTE: When installing a new stability control sensor cluster, the anti-lock brake system (ABS) module must be configured (using vehicle as-built data) and calibrated. Follow the diagnostic tool directions for the calibration procedures. For module configuration, refer to Information Bus (Module Configuration).

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.





2. Remove the pin-type retainer and the driver side floor console finish panel.





3. Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and the LH instrument panel brace.
^ To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.).





4. Remove the 2 screws and LH heater duct.
5. Disconnect the stability control sensor cluster electrical connector.
6. Remove the stability control sensor cluster electrical harness retainers and position aside.
7. Remove the 2 stability control sensor cluster bracket nuts and the stability control sensor cluster.
^ To install, tighten to 7 Nm (62 inch lbs.).

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
