Normal Operation
The overdrive (O/D) off function is controlled by the O/D off switch located on the shifter assembly. The O/D off status is transmitted to the instrument cluster from the powertrain control module (PCM) (4.0L engine), or the transmission control module (TCM) (4.6L engine) over the high speed controller area network (HS-CAN).
