Test Y: Advancetrac With Roll Stability Control (Rsc) Indicator Is Never/Always On

Pinpoint Test Y: The AdvanceTrac With Roll Stability Control (RSC) Indicator Is Never/Always On

Normal Operation
The AdvanceTrac with RSC indicator informs the driver that a traction control or stability assist event is taking place, by flashing the AdvanceTrac with RSC indicator during the event. The AdvanceTrac with RSC indicator illuminates constantly (not flashing) when a malfunction is detected in the traction control or stability assist system, or if the traction control or stability assist system is disabled by the operator. The ABS module sends a message to the instrument cluster (IC) along the high speed controller area network (HS-CAN) bus to illuminate the AdvanceTrac with RSC indicator.

This pinpoint test is intended to diagnose the following:
- Traction control/stability assist system concern
- ABS module
- Instrument cluster (IC)
