SEAT BACKREST - SECOND ROW, BUCKET

Removal and Installation

NOTE: RH seat shown, LH seat similar.







1. Remove the detachable safety belt anchor buckle end.
1. Remove the detachable safety belt anchor buckle end bolt.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

2. Remove the detachable safety belt anchor buckle end and spacer.







2. Remove the right-hand seat side trim.
1. Remove the screws (one located behind the seat back latch).
2. Remove the right-hand seat side trim.







3. Remove the left-hand seat side trim.
1. Remove the screws.
2. Remove the left-hand seat side trim.







4. Remove the backrest pivot bolt.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).







5. Remove the 2 recliner bolts and the backrest.
- To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

6. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
