PINPOINT TEST A: LOSS OF POWERNormal Operation
The exhaust system provides an exit for exhaust gases and reduces engine noise by passing exhaust gases through the catalytic converters and a muffler assembly. If the exhaust system becomes restricted a loss of power can occur.
Possible Causes
A loss of power can be caused by:
^ restricted or damaged pipes.
^ muffler.
^ catalytic converter.
