Seat Backrest - Rear, Bench

SEAT BACKREST - REAR, BENCH

Disassembly and Assembly
1. Remove the rear bench seat assembly.
2. Remove the rear bench seat backrest.







3. If equipped, remove the armrest.
1. Peel back the Velcro(R)-fastened armrest cover to expose the armrest bolt.
2. Remove the bolt and crown washer.
- To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).

3. Remove the armrest.







4. Remove the rear seat back cover.
1. Unclip the J-clip at the bottom of the rear seat back cover.
2. Peel the rear seat back cover from the seat back.







5. NOTE: When installing a new rear seat back pad, a cut-out must be made on the new pad to fit around the armrest bracket.

Lift the rear seat back pad from the rear seat back frame.







6. Remove the 2 armrest bracket-to-rear bench seat back frame bolts and remove the armrest bracket from the rear seat back frame.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

7. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
8. Install the rear bench seat backrest.
9. Install the rear bench seat assembly.
