Seat Cushion - Rear, Bench

SEAT CUSHION - REAR, BENCH

Disassembly and Assembly
1. Remove the rear bench seat assembly.
2. Remove the rear bench seat backrest.







3. NOTE: Make sure the washer is located correctly during assembly.

Remove the safety belt assembly from the left and right stanchions.
1. Remove the safety belt and buckle assembly-to-stanchion bolt from the stanchion.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

2. Remove the safety belt assembly.







4. NOTE: When removing the stanchions, note their locations on the seat cushion frame and install them in the same location.

Remove the left and right stanchions from the seat.
1. Remove the upper and lower stanchion-to-seat cushion frame bolts.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

2. Remove the stanchions from the seat.







5. Remove the center safety belt bolt and washer from the rear seat cushion frame and remove the center safety belt (4-passenger bench seat only).
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).







6. NOTE: Make sure the safety belt is routed and located inboard of the cushion frame bar during assembly.

Remove the seat cushion cover clips from the rear seat cushion frame.







7. Remove the rear seat cushion frame from the rear seat cushion pad.







8. Remove the 2 lower anchors and tethers for children (LATCH) rear attachment bolts.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).







9. Remove the 4 LATCH forward attachment bolts and the LATCH attachment.
- To install, tighten to 13 Nm (10 lb-ft).







10. Remove the rear seat cushion cover.
1. Pull the safety belt ends up through the rear seat cushion cover and the rear seat cushion pad.
2. Peel the rear seat cushion cover from the rear seat cushion pad.

11. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
- Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.

12. Install the rear bench seat backrest.
13. Install the rear bench seat assembly.
