IDLE SPEED DROPS BELOW SPECIFICATION - DTC
P0054 OR P0460

FORD:
2007 E-350, E-450

ISSUE
Some 2007 E-350 and E-450 vehicles equipped with 6.8L engines may exhibit idle speed dropping below specification. Additionally, some E-450 vehicles may exhibit diagnostic trouble code (DTC) P0054 (HO2S Heater Resistance) without related hardware issues, or P0460 (Fuel level Sensor A Circuit).

ACTION
Reprogram the powertrain control module (PCM) to the latest calibration using IDS release 62.11 and higher. This new calibration is not included in the VCM 2009.7 DVD. Calibration files may also be obtained at the website.
