NOTE: Only vehicles equipped with roll stability control will communicate on the high speed controller area network (HS-CAN). Standard ABS module vehicles without roll stability control will communicate on the International Standards Organization (ISO) network.

Normal Operation
The ABS module communicates with the scan tool through the HS-CAN. Circuits 1827 (WH/LG) (HS-CAN +) and 1828 (PK/LG) (HS-CAN -) provide the network connection to the ABS module. The ABS module shares the HS-CAN network with the powertrain control module (PCM) and the instrument cluster. Voltage for the ABS module is provided by circuit 640 (RD/YE). Circuit 530 (LG/YE) provides ground.

Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit 530 (LG/YE) open
- Circuit 640 (RD/YE) open
- Circuit 1827 (WH/LG) open (HS-CAN +)
- Circuit 1828 (PK/LG) open (HS-CAN -)
- ABS module
