SEAT BACKREST - SECOND ROW, BUCKET

Disassembly and Assembly

All seats
1. Remove the rear quad bucket seat from the vehicle.

2. Remove the rear quad bucket seat backrest.







3. NOTE: If the same armrest is being installed, the armrest plate and bolt can be reused but a new crown washer must be used.

Remove the armrest.
1. Pull back the armrest cover, release the hook and loop strip and expose the bolt.
2. Remove the armrest bolt and the crown washer.
- To install, tighten to 35 Nm (26 lb-ft).

3. Remove the armrest.







4. Remove the front seat back cover.
1. Unfasten the J-clip at the bottom of the front seat back.

2. CAUTION: Use care when separating the seat back trim cover from the hook and loop strip, or the hook and loop strip can be torn from the seat back foam.

Place a hand between the backrest trim cover and backrest foam pad and carefully separate the hook and loop strips, then carefully invert the backrest trim cover and remove it.

5. Access and detach the J-clips from the seat backrest frame from beneath the seat backrest cover.

All seats
6. Remove the seat back cushion.
7. Remove the plastic insulator.







8. Remove the 2 recliner bolts and the seat back recliner.
- To install, tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

9. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
10. Install the rear quad bucket seat backrest.
11. Install the rear quad bucket seat.
12. Repower the SRS.
