Test C: The Headlamps Are On Continuously

PINPOINT TEST C: THE HEADLAMPS ARE ON CONTINUOUSLY

C1-C2:

C3-C8:

Normal Operation
When the headlamp switch is placed in the headlamps ON position, voltage is routed to the multifunction switch through circuit 15 (RD/YE).

If the multifunction switch is in the low beam position, voltage is routed to the central junction box (CJB) through circuit 13 (RD/BK). The CJB then routes the voltage through circuits 160 (DB/WH) (LH headlamp) and 161 (DG/OG) (RH headlamp).

If the multifunction switch is in the high beam position, voltage is routed to the CJB through circuit 632 (GY/OG). The CJB then routes the voltage to the headlamps through circuit 12 (LG/BK).

Possible Causes
- Circuit 12 (LG/BK) short to voltage
- Circuit 13 (RD/BK) short to voltage
- Circuit 15 (RD/YE) short to voltage
- Circuit 160 (DB/WH) short to voltage
- Circuit 161 (DG/OG) short to voltage
- Circuit 632 (GY/OG) short to voltage
- Headlamp switch
- Multifunction switch
- Daytime running lamps (DRL) module
