OVERVIEW
This program involves reprogramming the powertrain control module (PCM) with the latest calibration.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
It is not required to affix an Authorized Modification Label forthis PCM reprogramming.

1. Verify that the Integrated Diagnostic System (IDS) is updated to software release 52.12 or later.

2. Reprogram the PCM to the latest level using IDS. If you are unable to reprogram the PCM:

^ Module replacement will not be covered under this program.

^ Prior to disconnecting the scan tool and closing the session, call the Special Service Support Centerforfurther instructions.
