Collision Avoidance and Parking Assist Systems: Description and Operation

PARKING AID

The parking aid radar sensor is integral to the parking aid module and no additional sensors are used. The parking aid module is located in the center of the rear bumper between the bumper isolator and the bumper cover. The parking aid speaker is located in the LH C-pillar area.

The parking aid system consists of the following:
- Radar sensor and module assembly
- Parking aid speaker (audible warning tone)
- Parking aid disable feature (integral to the instrument cluster message center)
