Hood: Adjustments

HOOD ALIGNMENT

1. Raise and support the hood.







2. Loosen the 2 hood hinge-to-hood bolts enough to hold the hood in place.







3. NOTE: Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until satisfactory alignment is achieved.

Align the hood.
1 Be sure the margin between the hood to grille is 1.3 mm (0.05 in) ± .08 mm (0.03 in).
2 Be sure the margin between the hood to fender is 4.5 mm (0.17 in) ± 2 mm (0.07 in).

4. When correctly aligned, tighten the hood hinge-to-hood bolts to 30 Nm (22 lb-ft).
