To enter the instrument cluster dealer test mode with the engine off, press and hold the odometer reset button (base cluster) or the message center RESET button (message center cluster). Turn the ignition switch to the RUN position and hold until the display indicates ENGINEERING TEST MODE usually within 5-6 seconds. Press the reset button once to advance to each stage of the self-test.

To exit the instrument cluster dealer test mode, press and hold the odometer reset button (base cluster) or the message center RESET button (message center cluster) for approximately 5-8 seconds or turn the ignition to the OFF position.
