Removal and Installation

CAUTION: The brake pedal and the accelerator pedal must be in the same position when installing a new cable or a new pedal. The pedals must be in the all the way forward or the all the way rearward position.

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect the accelerator pedal position sensor electrical connector.
3. Remove the 3 bolts and the accelerator pedal assembly.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (9 lb-ft).

4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
