Test D: No Power in START

Refer to Vehicle/Diagrams, Power Distribution/SJB for schematic and connector information.

Normal Operation
When the ignition switch is placed in START, fused ignition voltage is sent to:
^ Smart junction box (SJB) C2280g-32 along circuit CDC35 (BU/WH)
^ SJB C2208g-45 along circuit CDC34 (WH/OG)
^ Pin 1 of the run/start relay in the BJB along circuit CDC34 (WH/OG)
Fused battery voltage is provided to pin 3 of the run/start relay from BJB fuse 46 (40A) and to pin 3 of the starter motor relay from BJB fuse 40 (30A).

Possible Causes
^ Fuse(s)
^ Circuit open
^ Run/start relay
^ Starter motor relay
^ Ignition switch
^ Smart junction box
^ Battery junction box

PINPOINT TEST D: NO POWER IN START

CAUTION: Use the Flex Probe Kit for all test connections to prevent damage to the wiring terminals. Do not use standard multi-meter probes.
