The body:
- is a cab-forward design.
- is constructed of lightweight, all steel welded material, with bolted removable front fenders and hinged doors.
- has an aluminum liftgate and hood with gas lift cylinders (Expedition).
- has steel fenders and a SMC hood with gas lift cylinders (Navigator).
- has roof and body side panels that are separate pieces.
- is supported by a full frame.
