SEAT - SECOND ROW, 20 PERCENT







Removal and Installation

CAUTION: The seat-to-floor bolts must be installed in the sequence described.

1. Fold both 40 percent seats to the E-Z entry position.

2. CAUTION: Use a screwdriver to pry beneath the attaching metal clips.

Remove the 2 right side seat-to-floor bolt covers.

3. Remove the 2 right side seat-to-floor bolts.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

4. CAUTION: Use a screwdriver to pry beneath the attaching metal clips.

Remove the left side seat-to-floor bolt cover.

5. Remove the left side seat-to-floor bolt.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

6. Position the 40 percent seats upright.

7. CAUTION: Use a screwdriver to pry beneath the attaching metal clips.

Remove the 2 seat-to-floor front bolt covers.

8. CAUTION: Use a screwdriver to pry beneath the attaching metal clips.

Remove the 2 seat-to-floor rear bolt covers.

9. Remove the 2 seat-to-floor front bolts.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

10. Fold both 40 percent seats to the E-Z entry position.
11. Remove the LH seat-to-floor rear bolt and then the RH seat-to-floor rear bolt.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

12. Remove the 20 percent seat from the vehicle.
- For installation, align the locator pins to the holes in the floor.

13. CAUTION: The seat-to-floor bolts must be installed in the sequence described.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Install the fasteners as follows:
- Install the RH seat-to-floor rear bolt.
- Install the LH seat-to-floor rear bolt.
- Install the 2 seat-to-floor front bolts.
- Install the 3 right and left side seat-to-floor bolts (note, shoulder bolts do not tighten to seat brackets).

- Make sure the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants after installation.
- Make sure the safety belt retractor operates without excessive effort or binding.
