Transfer Case

NOTE: Installation is for both Navigator and Expedition.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
^ Install a new transfer case-to-transmission gasket.
^ Fill the transfer case. Refer to Specifications for the correct type and quantity of fluid.
^ Tighten the transfer case-to-transmission bolts evenly in a star pattern.
^ Adjust the transmission selector lever cable.
