PINPOINT TEST U: THE REVERSING LAMPS ARE ON CONTINUOUSLY

Normal Operation
When the transmission is placed in REVERSE (R), instrument cluster sends a message over the communication network to the smart junction box (SJB) indicating the transmission is in REVERSE (R). SJB then provides ground to an internal relay, which routes voltage to circuit CBP15 (BN/BU) to the reversing lamps.

DTC B2382 - is an on-demand DTC that sets when the SJB detects a short to ground on the reversing lamp relay coil ground controlled circuit.

Possible Causes
- Circuit CAT16 (GY/BN) short to voltage
- Circuit CBP15 (BN/BU) short to voltage
- Rear view mirror
- SJB
- Instrument cluster
