PINPOINT TEST T: THE REVERSING LAMPS ARE INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation
When the transmission is placed in REVERSE (R), the instrument cluster sends a message over the communication network to the smart junction box (SJB) indicating the transmission is in reverse. The SJB then provides ground to an internal relay, which routes voltage to circuit CBP15 (BN/BU) to the reversing lamps.

DTC B2382 - is an on-demand DTC that sets when the SJB detects an open (no voltage) from the reversing lamp coil ground controlled circuit.

Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit CBP15 (BN/BU) open
- Circuit GD148 (BK/YE) open
- SJB
- Instrument cluster
