Normal Operation
The indicator flasher relay receives battery voltage through circuit 10 (LG/RD). The indicator flasher provides voltage to the multifunction switch through circuit 385 (WH/RD). Circuit 57 (BK) provides ground for the indicator flasher. When the hazard switch is turned on, the multifunction switch routes voltage to the turn/hazard lamps. The timed on/off cycle is determined in the indicator flasher relay and is set to flash approximately 80 times per minute when the hazard switch is turned on.
Possible Causes
- Fuse
- Circuit 10 (LG/RD) open
- Circuit 57 (BK) open
- Circuit 385 (WH/RD) open or short to ground
- Indicator flasher relay
- Multifunction switch
